Letterpress Poster // personal project_2014
 
This letterpress poster was made in San Francisco Center For The Book by a Vandercook machine. I used three different woodtypes in two colors: orange and grey blue. Orange is one of my favorite color, it stands for happiness and energy; gray blue meant to balance the orange, at the same time stands for the mundane world, delivering a lone tone—I guess because I usually travle alone. 
 
The concept of the poster came from my Chinese name “航”, which stands for voyage. I always travle alone and enjoy the fun
of being lost, yet sometimes I do hope I were with somebody who would share the joy with me. This poster is an invitation, a love letter…
